Our humble beginning...
GKR TANKLINES, LLC. began in February of 2014 after the purchase of a 2006 Kenworth T-600 from John Kirtley of Rush Peterbilt in El Paso, TX. Greg Avila our only driver, then set out East to the West Texas oil fields to start hauling crude oil. As work became scarce in 2016, GKR TANKLINES, LLC. received an opportunity to make its mark in a new sector and a new market. VULCAN Materials and Southeast Division Logistics gave us a chance to prove our worth In the Atlanta, GA area construction, concrete, and asphalt aggregate market. We officially opened up for business in the Atlanta market in 2017.
Since then, we have had the opportunity by the Grace of God to spread our wings and experience tremendous growth. As of November 2019, we are currently operating 5 out of 7 trucks and trailers. We look forward to becoming a household name and more importantly a place where drivers can make an honest living and provide for their families while solving our customers transportation problems.
A special thanks to my Wife, Kim Avila, my Daughter, Renee Avila and my parents, Steve and Eva Jones and most importantly Our Lord and Savior...without them nothing would be possible!!
